Marisol and June.

Marisol does makeup and June does hair, in the same room at the same time. We answer every message ourselves.

Marisol Vega

Makeup · since 2015

Marisol started Vega & Lowe in 2015 with one kit and a rule: be in the room half an hour before the first chair. She still writes every call sheet.

Hair · since 2018

June joined in 2018 so a bride’s hair and makeup could happen at the same time. Updos that hold through the dancing, and veils that stay put.

How a morning runs.

Half an hour early

We set up before the first chair, every time.

Side by side

Six services each in a morning, twelve between the two of us.

The bride last

We count back from your ready-by time and put you in the chair last.

After we leave

A touch-up kit stays with your maid of honor for the evening.

Over twelve services. Dani Reyes (makeup) and Tess Okafor (hair) join us. They trained with us, work from the same call sheet and carry the same kit.

“Marisol did my makeup first, at nine. I hugged everyone all day and it held until the last dance.”
