I came up through small agencies and product teams where every decision had to carry its weight. That made me practical about design: the story needs to be sharp, the interface needs to work, and the business has to feel real before anyone clicks, buys, or believes.

I like working near the beginning, when the offer is promising but still hard to explain. My job is to find the plainspoken truth inside the complexity, then build the language and product surfaces that help it travel.

The strongest launches usually come from close collaboration with founders, engineers, and operators. I listen for the details customers repeat, the objections sales teams hear, and the moments where a product finally becomes obvious.

Good design gives a young company the confidence to be understood quickly.
