Key art: a lamplighter in a long coat holds a lantern at the mouth of a flooded stone tunnel, moths circling the flame

A hand-painted metroidvania about a lamplighter walking home across a drowned coast. Nothing can kill you. Your lantern burns down, the weather closes the roads, and the map stays blank until you draw it yourself.

Light the Way

The lantern is not a lamp, it is the level design. Ledges, handholds and doorways only exist where the light falls, and the flame burns down as you walk. Every route is a decision about how much dark you can afford.

Draw Your Own Map

Nothing is filled in for you. The map opens blank and stays that way until you ink it yourself, room by room, in whatever shorthand you invent. Your marks are the only record the game keeps.

Walk, Don’t Fight

There is no combat and no death screen. The pressure comes from weather that closes roads on its own clock, from fuel you have to ration, and from the distance still between you and home.

Critical Acclaim

“The rare metroidvania that trusts you to just look at it.”

EUROGAMER

“I finished it in two sittings and immediately started marking a second map.”

ROCK PAPER SHOTGUN

“Removing combat did not make it gentle. It made every wrong turn cost something.”
