Getting here

The pleasant route is usually best

On foot

Follow the harbour path east from Queen Square for roughly ten minutes. Turn at the red crane; the chimney is ahead.

By bus or rail

Temple Meads is a fifteen-minute walk. Routes 8 and 72 stop on Kilngate Road, three minutes from the door.

By car

There is no pub car park. Wharf Street public parking is five minutes away; please leave the loading bays clear.

Old building. Thoughtful welcome.

The main entrance, bar, kitchen tables and accessible toilet are step-free. The snug has one shallow step; a portable ramp is available.

  • Assistance dogs are welcome everywhere.
  • High chairs and baby-changing facilities are available.
  • The quietest tables are usually in the front room before 6pm.
  • Call ahead for a specific access need and we will prepare the space.
